What will you do?

 

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Trade Coordinator to play a key role in bringing our Trade Plan to life across stores. In this role, you’ll ensure that all promotional activity is backed by accurate, legally compliant ticketing—delivered on time and published via My Target. Your work will directly enable store teams to execute campaigns with precision and impact, helping drive customer engagement and commercial success. As a Trade Coordinator you’ll: 

 

  • Capture promotional details using the ticket generation tool to ensure timely and accurate input
  • Create and validate tickets to reflect promotions correctly, regenerating as needed to fix errors
  • Batch and distribute tickets for upload to My Target by the Central Operations team
  • Ensure legal compliance by working with the Legal & Compliance team to meet regulatory standards and adapt to legislative changes
  • Review and approve marketing POS materials in collaboration with the Merchandising team for campaigns and events
  • Manage supplier-funded POS, supporting briefing, review, and approval processes
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across all promotional ticketing to support flawless store execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional input to align ticketing with broader trade and marketing plans

 

What are we looking for? 

 

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a Marketing, Commercial, or Operational role within a retail environment
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing preferred
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and database tools to manage promotional briefing processes
  • Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to stay focused under pressure
  • Tech-savvy mindset with a drive to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
  • Demonstrates customer focus, personal integrity, and a results-driven attitude
  • Strong team player with the ability to build positive relationships across departments
