What will you do?

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Advisor to join our Payroll team at Target! The primary purpose of this role is to ensure efficient and accurate processing of payruns, including data entry and administration. Provide operational advice, support to key stakeholders, and ensure compliance and governance of payroll systems and processes, in line with Target’s values.


Other responsibilities will include:

 

  • Processing the payrun including off-cycles
  • Process workflows for any changes in relation to team members employment status, cost centre changes.
  • Processing of service requests for wages (weekly paid) and salary (monthly paid) team members, query investigation and resolution.
  • Provide payroll support to all Store and Target Store Support Office team members including providing 2nd level payroll support on queries
  • Issue management resolution and audit reviews/compliance

What are we looking for?

 

We are looking for an individual with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, high volume, multi-task and prioritise day to day activities. A quick learner who is open to challenges with a curious mind-set and can apply new concepts and principles to address problems with clear, concise and professional communication.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated understanding of various employment and tax legislation including EBAs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational and time management
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in Success Factors: EC & ECP, UKG Dimensions and Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Strong numerical and administrative skills
