What will you do?

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Forecast Analyst to join our inventory team. The primary focus will be ensuring Merchandise sales & inventory plans are executed accurately within our inventory systems. Through ongoing collaboration with key stakeholders, your primary objective will be ensuring forecast accuracy is improved and stock flow constraints are identified and resolved, ultimately improving product availability in stores. You will be accountable for availability improvement in your departments and will be required to analyse and communicate risks and opportunities to senior management.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Working closely with the Merchandise Planners to optimise inventory levels and achieve financial KPIs of sales, margin, and stockturn.
  • Accountable for translating the business strategies into actionable Inventory system inputs.
  • Owning the merchandise relationships, driving enhancements in forecast accuracy through root cause analysis, and ensuring continuous improvement throughout the planning function.
  • Supporting the business through improved forecasts and accurate reporting, presenting insights to key stakeholders both commercial and operational, and influencing decision-making.
  • Own the inventory critical path & consensus process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve stock flow from supplier to store.

What are we looking for?

 

•    Retail and/or FMCG experience desirable.
•    Strong communication skills.
•    Effectively influencing stakeholders in decision-making.
•    Validate and interpret demand planning outputs for accurate forecasts.
•    Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
•    Strong numerical and analytical skills and amazing attention to detail.
•    Strong Excel knowledge.
•    Proven ability to execute action plan deliverables in a timely manner .
•    Experience in Project/Business translation.
•    Experience in Allocations, Demand and Fulfillment systems.
•    Bachelor’s degree (Undergrad).
