What will you do?


We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BI Developer to lead, design, develop and support data warehouse solutions for Kmart and Target. 
As a BI Developer, you will report to the Head of Data Enablement & Governance and you will use your talent for leading, designing, developing, and supporting data warehouse solutions. 

Other responsibilities will include:
•    Lead, design, develop and support data warehouse solutions
•    Identify opportunities to improve systems functionality to address business issues
•    Partner with business stakeholders and Business Analysts/Solution Architects to understand and capture technical requirements for the agreed design 
•    Develop and maintain PowerBI business reports 
•    Provide/document application subject matter expertise to the support function 
•    Engage and lead by example in all aspects of the development lifecycle. Actively contribute to team continuous improvement efforts including coding standards 

What are we looking for?


•    Experience working and developing in ETL/Data warehouse environments 
•    Recent relevant experience in developing, executing and debugging SSIS packages
•    Experience of working with MS BI stack and SQL Server to write queries/manipulate data with awareness of risk to the integrity of that data
•    3-5 years of experience as a Senior Analyst Programmer 
•    5-7 years of experience in relevant programming languages and domain
•    Agile and waterfall delivery experience
•    Experience in retail sector is advantageous
•    Strong experience in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS & Power BI 
•    Knowledge and experience of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence
