Join the team

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join Target at our brand‑new Chadstone office. In this pivotal role, you will provide high‑level, professional administrative support to two General Managers across Merchandise and Marketing, while also supporting the broader team in line with Target’s values

What will you do?

Operating in a fast‑moving environment, the Executive Assistant will be the central coordination point, helping leaders and teams stay organised, informed and prepared. Sitting at the heart of the Merchandise function, you will support multiple senior leaders with busy and often competing priorities, adapting quickly as plans shift and ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly.

You will coordinate meetings and calendars, manage room bookings, respond to last‑minute changes, and organise domestic and international travel for Merchandise and Marketing teams via FCM. You will also play a key role in financial and operational administration, including invoice processing, expense management and reporting, while acting as a trusted point of contact across multiple product categories.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • End‑to‑end diary and email management for multiple senior leaders
  • Coordinating meetings and forums, including agendas, presentations, papers, minutes and actions
  • Preparing leaders for daily meetings, product reviews and presentations, including Total Product Review (TPR) sessions
  • Managing room bookings and responding to shifting priorities throughout the day
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel and itineraries via FCM
  • Processing invoices, coding and approvals through SAP Finance S4/Hana
  • Managing expenses, FlexiPurchase approvals, credit card reconciliations and finance reporting
  • Coordinating invoices for freelance designers and external vendors
  • Supporting team member changes and basic updates via SuccessFactors
  • Providing general administrative support across multiple product categories
  • Acting as the central point of contact for day‑to‑day queries across Merchandise
  • Championing Target’s vision, strategy and values across the team and wider organisation

What are we looking for?

You are a highly organised, detail‑oriented professional with excellent communication and time management skills. You thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, remain calm under pressure, and confidently manage competing priorities while exercising discretion and confidentiality at all times.

 You will also bring:

  • Extensive experience providing high‑level executive support in a fast‑paced corporate environment, ideally 8+ years at Executive Assistant level
  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders at Executive or C‑suite level
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues proactively
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous retail experience (highly regarded)
  • A Business Administration degree or qualification (preferred)
  • Experience with SAP finance systems and SuccessFactors (desirable but not essential)
