We have an exciting opportunity for a CX Designer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract! In this role, you will collaboratively design and develop innovative, on‑brand digital content that meets business objectives and delivers an exceptional customer experience. Continuously improve digital content, workflows and design processes to enhance day‑to‑day operations and the overall digital experience, aligned with Target’s values.
What will you do?
As a CX Designer at Target you’ll:
- Create optimised, on‑brand digital content and pages that enhance the online customer experience and support campaign and trading priorities.
- Communicate clearly and constructively, sharing well‑reasoned design insights and supporting effective teamwork.
- Build strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of digital design outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance digital experiences, processes and workflows through insights, testing, and optimisation.
- Apply and maintain design, technical and accessibility standards to ensure digital experiences are consistent, usable, compliant and aligned with brand and CX best practices.
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years’ experience in digital web design, UI and UX, creating customer‑centred web pages and digital experiences for retail environments
- Experience working within major enterprise retailers or digital marketplaces, with strong understanding of complex customer journeys
- Strong understanding of UI and UX design systems & principles, including visual hierarchy, typography, layout, accessibility standards (WCAG), and SEO
- Experience with web design systems, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft tools as well as design process workflows in a retail environment; tools such as Monday.com and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of eCommerce retail customer behaviour, with a passion for influencing and improving the experience
- Ability to conduct user research and user testing to inform design decisions and validate digital experiences
- Experience with web content management systems (CMS), with working knowledge of HTML & CSS and digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity is highly regarded
